Refund & Return Policy
GiftBridge does not sell goods. You sell eligible gift cards to GiftBridge and receive an NGN payout in your GiftBridge wallet. This policy explains what happens when an order or withdrawal does not go as expected, what you need to do, how long it takes, and who pays any costs.
Summary
- No physical returns. Nothing is shipped, so there is nothing to post back and no return shipping cost.
- No GiftBridge fees. Submitting an order, opening a dispute and requesting a withdrawal are free.
- Rejected withdrawals are refunded to your wallet. The amount returns to your available wallet balance as soon as the rejection is recorded.
- Completed sales are final. Once an order is approved and paid, the gift card value has been transferred and the sale cannot be returned or reversed by request. If you believe the result is wrong, you can open a dispute within 30 days.
1. Gift card sale orders
Before review is complete. Every order is reviewed manually. An order cannot be cancelled in the app after it is submitted. If you submitted an order by mistake, contact support straight away with your order number.
Rejected orders. An order may be rejected if the card is invalid, already redeemed, duplicated, restricted, not supported, or does not have enough proof. A rejected order is not paid, and the result is shown on the order page. If you think the rejection is wrong, open a dispute.
Approved and paid orders. When an order is approved, the payout is credited to your GiftBridge wallet. Because the gift card value has already been transferred, a completed sale cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled.
2. Disputes
You can open a dispute on an order that is under review, paid, cancelled or closed, within 30 days of the latest decision on that order. To do this:
- Open the order in the GiftBridge app and tap Report Order Issue, or email support@giftbridge.org.
- Include your order number, what went wrong and any proof, such as screenshots or receipts.
- Our team reviews the dispute manually and shows the result in the app.
If a dispute finds you were underpaid, the difference is credited to your GiftBridge wallet after approval. If it finds a payout was made in error, GiftBridge may correct your wallet balance. While a dispute is open, the related payout may be held.
Disputes opened more than 30 days after the latest decision may not be accepted. Please report a problem as soon as you notice it.
3. Wallet withdrawals
- GiftBridge does not charge a withdrawal fee.
- Every withdrawal is reviewed manually before it is paid.
- If a withdrawal is rejected or cannot be completed, the full amount is returned to your available wallet balance as soon as the rejection is recorded. You can see it in your wallet activity.
- Reward withdrawals that are still pending can be cancelled in the app.
- Once a withdrawal has been paid to your bank account, it cannot be reversed by GiftBridge. Check your payout details before you submit.
4. Timing
Wallet refunds for rejected withdrawals appear as soon as the rejection is recorded. Order reviews, disputes and withdrawals are handled manually, so the time they take depends on the case and on the checks needed. GiftBridge does not promise a fixed completion time. You can follow the status of each order, dispute and withdrawal in the app.
5. Costs
GiftBridge does not charge return, refund, dispute or withdrawal fees, and there are no shipping costs. Your bank or mobile network may charge its own fees, which GiftBridge does not control.
